MY CREATIONS

MONOCHROMATIC TROOPS
Spring 2018
1 week
Acrylic on canvas
I created this piece for a 2D college assignment over the course of a week. I desired to focus on various tints, tones, and shades and use of perspective. Instead of using only 8 colors, I decided to extend to 12 to capture more intricate details.

PART OF YOUR WORLD
May 2018
2 months
costume design
modeled by Brianna Charles and Andrew Eberline
This costume pair inspired by Disney's The Little Mermaid, took a little over two months to complete. The idea was started back in June of 2017 and required extensive trial and error with the use of various wearable materials. Ariel's rock in constructed of lightweight flexible metal, paper mache, and duct tape. The rock texture on both costumes was created by mixing sand, mod podge, water, and spray paint. These costumes competed at MegaCon Orlando 2018 and earned a Judge's Award.

GEMINI
Spring 2019
1 week
Gemini is inspired by the special bond and characteristics of the astrology twins. This piece was created using wood, Sculpey clay, tin foil, and recycled wire. Each rose was individually sculpted and painted using a mix of oils and acrylics for textures. This piece represents a personal time in my life shared with my Gemini sister.

THE TOWER
Spring 2018
1 week
Acrylic on canvas
This piece was created for a Disney inspired Tangled Nursery. I used reference to the Disney animated film as well as some redesign with the hair and tower for the client. The painting was also sealed with an acrylic for safe keeping in the future.

THE CORPSE BRIDE
October 2018
3 weeks
Costume Design
modeled by Brianna Charles
Inspired by Tim Burton's The Corpse Bride animated film, this version of Emily is created from 3 recycled 80's wedding gowns, Ritz dyes mixed with watered down acrylics, and rubber bone molds. It took over three weeks and many meticulous hours to carefully ombre dye the fabric as well as practice various body paint methods.
